Vi er stolte af at kunne præsentere årets hold i Nordic Opera Choir 2026!
Efter et rekordstort ansøgerfelt på mere end 120 sangere fra hele Norden er 30 unge, talentfulde sangere nu blevet udvalgt til årets kor. Det er det højeste ansøgertal i projektets historie, og niveauet blandt ansøgerne har været imponerende højt. Udvælgelsen har derfor været sværere end nogensinde før.
Årets kor samler sangere fra Danmark, Norge, Sverige, Finland og Island og består af både konservatoriestuderende og professionelle sangere. Sammen repræsenterer de noget af det stærkeste unge sangtalent inden for klassisk sang og opera i Norden.
Vi glæder os til at samle hele holdet for første gang til årets indstuderingscamp i Sverige i begyndelsen af august. Her venter intensive arbejdsdage, nye fællesskaber og kunstneriske møder på tværs af landegrænser.
Efter campen drager Nordic Opera Choir ud på sin årlige nordiske turné. Som noget helt nyt bliver koret i år akkompagneret af orkester ved samtlige koncerter i alle lande – et markant kunstnerisk løft, som vi glæder os til at dele med publikum.

We are proud to present the singers of Nordic Opera Choir 2026!
Following a record-breaking application round with more than 120 applicants from across the Nordic countries, 30 talented young singers have now been selected for this year’s choir. It is the highest number of applications in the project’s history, and the overall level has been exceptionally strong. As a result, the selection process has been more challenging than ever before.
This year’s choir brings together singers from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland, including both conservatory students and professional singers. Together, they represent some of the most promising young voices in Nordic classical music and opera.
We are excited to welcome the entire group for the first time at our annual rehearsal camp in Sweden in early August. The camp will be an opportunity for intensive musical work, artistic development and new connections across borders.
Following the camp, Nordic Opera Choir will embark on its annual Nordic tour. For the first time, the choir will be accompanied by an orchestra at every concert in every country on the tour – an exciting artistic milestone that will elevate the concert experience for both singers and audiences alike.
