Conductor 2026 – Ragnheiður Ingunn Jóhannsdóttir

We are truly delighted that Ragnheiður Ingunn Jóhannsdóttir will continue as conductor in 2026.

She is a talented conductor, and her work in 2025, together with the many positive responses from both singers and orchestra, made it a natural decision for us to continue the collaboration. As a former singer in Nordic Opera Choir, she brings a unique understanding of the choir and knows firsthand what it takes to be part of it. We’re looking forward to another season with Ragnheiður Ingunn Jóhannsdóttir, bringing wonderful music to life with the singers and the orchestras.
